Realizing the Dream

As a founding director of Realizing the Dream, my work is carrying out technical assistance strategies in peacebuilding, peacemaking, and peacekeeping strategies in conflict and post conflict communities around the globe. I assembled the participants and organized the project GenII, the second generation of the twentieth century's preeminent peace advocates.

Organizing and carrying out a national program on poverty in America resulted in a team headed by Martin Luther King, III visiting more than forty communities around the nation -- from the nation's urban cores to Native American reservations, Appalachia, and the Gulf Coast. Over 24 months the team visited each community for 2-4 days looking, listening, and learning about the challenges and opportunities ordinary American's face. The program concluded with the national Summit to Realize the Dream in Washington, DC and the Award winning documentary "Poverty In America."
